Wedding photography at Bradbourne House

Bradbourne house is situated north of Maidstone in the village of East Malling. This is one of my favourite venues for wedding photography. Set in twenty acres of parkland ,Bradbourne House is a Grade 1 listed building with a stunning lake, stream and waterfall.

A long drive gives the visitor a fine view of Bradbourne house on arrival and is ideal for shots of the bridal cars etc. Weddings are held in one of the main rooms and once married the bride and groom make their way outside for reception drinks and photographs. My photography tells the story of the day and includes complete coverage of the day with all the group shots the bride and groom may require. Bradbourne House makes the perfect backdrop. Whether they have chosen a DVD package or the lavish story book package my attention to detail is the same.

My coverage will normally start from the brides house and go right up to the first dance. At Bradbourne house there are some useful steps leading up to a main door at the side of the house which are useful for the family group shots. Once these are done I like to use the stream and lake for reportage and posed shots of the bride and groom. From here there are also good shots with the house in the background. One of my most popular packages, the Ruby, a coffee table book is perfect for this venue. The bride and groom can choose the cover photo and choose all the images inside. Then the book is designed and approved before printing.

Once the wedding breakfast is over its time for the party to begin. As the evening guests arrive there is an opportunity for some more reportage shots as well as groups with friends who were not at the wedding during the day. Bradbourne House is ideal for the evening event with large doors into the gardens for those hot summer evenings. Once the first dance has finished it is time to party on down! Overall Bradbourne House is one of my favourite wedding venues.
