Wedding photography at Little Hermitage
The Little Hermitage is another venue I like working at and over the years have done many weddings here. Ideally situated close to Strood and Gravesend the Little Hermitage is a grade II listed Georgian Manor House surrounded by mature secluded gardens. Weddings and Civil Partnerships can be held either inside or outside. There is a large bedroom which brides use to get ready in and this also has a large balcony overlooking the rear gardens. This makes this area perfect for pre-wedding photography of the bride and bridal party.
I have packages for smaller weddings that can be held at Little Hermitage during the week and these include my popular coffee table book or DVD of images only. Larger versions of the coffee table book are also available for bigger weekend weddings together with book bound albums and the popular story book. A DVD only package is also available.
Inside weddings at Little Hermitage are held in the Ivory Room which also hosts the wedding breakfast. This airy room is ideal for photography of the ceremony and I have worked here on many occasions so know exactly what is required to capture your special day.
Outside weddings are held in the Gazebo in the secluded garden, guests sit in a semi-circle and have an excellent view of proceedings. I prefer to work from the Gazebo where I have a clear view of the Bride and Groom. There are many areas in the garden which offer excellent photo opportunities for bride and groom shots as well as group shots.
Once the wedding breakfast has been held and the evening guests arrive, the first dance is held and this normally takes place in the Ivory room where family and friends can get a good view. Further dancing is held downstairs in the basement room where the bar is also situated in a separate room. The Little Hermitage is one of my favourite venues and I have many satisfied customers who have married here.
