Wedding photography at Lympne Castle
Lympne Castle is situated near the village of Lympne in Kent and sits high above Romney Marsh. This lovely wedding venue has fantastic views across the marsh and towards the sea. Lympne Castle is a grade 1 listed building and dates back to the 13th century. This is a great wedding venue and I have many photography packages to suit weddings at this venue. Starting with my DVD packages right up to the Story Book package there is something for every budget. Licensed for weddings and civil partnerships the venue is the real deal with a stunning interior and beautiful gardens across many levels.
Wedding ceremonies are normally held in the West drawing room at Lympne Castle and can hold up to 85 guests. This room has a lovely fire place and large windows with views down to the sea. For larger weddings the Great Hall can be used and holds up to 120 guests . This room has large windows and panelled walls together with a high roof and wooden beams. The wedding breakfast is also held in this room and can seat 100 guests. This Hall can also hold up to 250 guests for the evening reception.
At Lympne Castle there are four cottages that can be hired for the Bridal party and guests to stay in, within the castle grounds. Once the wedding has taken place the bridal party together with the guests can make their way out onto the lawns for drinks and canapes. The lawns at Lympne Castle are ideal for the group photography with Family and Friends. My style is a mixture of reportage and traditional, capturing the day as it happens. There is a lovely walkway at the entrance to Lympne Castle where the bride and groom can be photographed walking down with the gate house in the background.
I am happy to quote for a tailored wedding photography package for Lympne Castle and many couples go for my Ruby package which includes a 10X10″ digital story book and now includes all the images in high res supplied on a DVD.
