Wedding photography at Nurstead Court
Nurstead Court is a lovely Family run wedding venue situated in beautiful countryside near Meopham in Kent. Weddings and Civil partnerships together with corporate events are catered for at Nurstead Court. Parts of the old Nurstead Court date back to 1320. The Regency drawing room can hold up to 75 guests for indoor wedding ceremonies. Opposite this room is the dining room with a bar and grand piano by the window. There is also a wood panelled 14th-century library with french windows opening out onto a garden with lawns, flower beds and stunning views.
Weddings can be held in the garden at Nurstead Court and guests can enjoy the views over rolling Kent countryside. I have many packages to suit weddings at this venue. My Pearl package, with images on DVD or memory stick is very popular now and coverage up to the first dance can be added for a small additional charge. Digital photo books can also be made to tell the whole story of the wedding day. The Ruby book package is perfect for this venue, and includes the bridal preps. Brides and bridesmaids can get ready in the restored stable cottage. There are two bedrooms and one includes a four poster bed. There is plenty of room to get ready. Downstairs there is an island kitchen and large lounge area. Perfect for the pre-wedding photographs of the bridal party etc.
At Nurstead Court there are a host of good areas for wedding photography within the extensive grounds. After the wedding ceremony, guests can enjoy a reception drink and then move onto one of the lawns for the photographs. Nurstead Court has a large Marquee which can cater for up to 120 sit down guests for the wedding breakfast and up to 200 for the evening reception. The marquee is heated and has a bar and dance floor where guests can dance away the evening.
Nurstead Court offers the complete package for weddings and civil partnerships and is a favourite venue of mine to work at.
