Wedding photography at Rowhill Grange

Rowhill Grange can be found nestling in the Kent countryside between Swanley and Dartford close to the A2. This is a lovely wedding venue with beautiful grounds and landscaped gardens. The grand victorian summerhouse at Rowhill Grange was built in 1870 and is now a spa hotel. Built on a slope with commanding views over the grounds. This is a nice place to photograph a wedding and you can get married in the private clockhouse suite which holds up to 150 guests. Outside there is a gazebo with a nice walkway leading up to it for the bride’s arrival. All the guests are seated and can get a very good view of proceedings.

Rowhill Grange has 38 boutique bedrooms and an award winning spa for guests to enjoy. Most bride and groom’s get ready for their wedding at the Rowhill Grange itself so they are on site and relaxed before the wedding. I normally photograph the groom and groomsmen first and then visit the bride when she is ready. Then the bridal party can be photographed on their way to the wedding. The grounds are ideal with plenty of good backgrounds and lawns for the important family and friend group shots. Once the main shots are done it’s time for a walk around the grounds for some romantic or reportage shots. Rowhill Grange itself can also be used as a background. Apart from the garden there is also a pond with bridge in the wooded area.

The reception can then begin, once the speeches are over the cake can be cut and the evening can begin! My coverage can be up to the first dance for a small additional charge. This would then include all the first dance and some of the family and guests dancing. My packages cater for smaller week day weddings at Rowhill Grange up to the larger weekend ones. Packages can be from images supplied on disc only, through to coffee table books and story books, with parent albums supplied and montage and framed prints also available. Rowhill Grange is a nice venue for a wedding and has lovely locations for those special wedding photographs.
