Wedding photography at The George Vaults
The George Vaults is a lovely venue for weddings and is situated in Rochester High Street. The George Vaults is a lovely venue to get married in and is licenced for Civil Ceremonies and Civil Partnerships. The George Vaults is set over three floors. There is a Brasserie and Wine bar plus cocktail bar with numerous areas to dine or enjoy a drink.
The George Vaults features a 14th Century Crypt which is where most of the weddings and wedding breakfasts take place. It has a bar at one end and stairs leading to other bars and the delightful courtyard garden. The atmospheric Vault can cater for up to seventy guests and fifty for the sit down wedding breakfast.
I enjoy working at the George Vaults and my packages are ideal for smaller weddings right up to the larger Story Book package. Some guests use the George Vaults as a reception venue and may get married at a church or the nearby Medway Register Office, also situated in Rochester. Either way the George Vaults offers lovely food and helpful staff to make you day run smoothly. Dedicated wedding co-ordinators help you and look after you throughout your special day.
The Groom and Best man etc can be photographed in the court yard garden before the Bride arrives. Once the Bride arrives at the front of the building usually by car the pictures can be taken and then she can be interviewed by the registrars before making her entrance in the Vaulted Crypt.
Photographs can be taken in the court yard garden at the George Vaults, but most parties like to go up to the Castle gardens and surrounding area. Once back at the Vaults the wedding breakfast can begin. After cake cutting the Bride and Groom can mingle with the guests before the evening begins. Overall the George Vaults offers a lovely change from normal venues and leaves guests etc with great memories of this historic venue.
