Wedding photography at The Knowle Country House

The Knowle Country House can be found just north of Rochester in the village of Higham. Built in the 1850s, it is a spectacular wedding venue. I have done many weddings at the Knowle and it is a friendly venue with lovely pretty gardens. Weddings take place either in the Garden Room which has windows down one side looking out onto the patio area or the Gazebo. The Gazebo is situated in the walled Rose garden and I have photographed many weddings in this lovely setting. I have many packages which are suitable for either larger weddings or smaller weddings which can be held during the week at the Knowle Country House.

Whether it is a wedding or civil partnership my packages are flexible and start with supplying a hi-res DVD only up to the large story book package. All weddings are done by myself and can be covered up to the first dance. I photograph everything on the day including table decorations and the room layout. If a bride has chosen to stay and get ready at the accommodation I will always be at the Knowle earlier for those important getting ready shots.

Once the groom, best man and ushers arrive they can be photographed in one of the gardens before the guests arrive and the ceremony begins. If the bride arrives by car they will normally go for a short drive straight after the Ceremony. Once they return I carry on with the main coverage of the day in a relaxed style.

The Knowle Country House has a large garden at the front of the house with lawns and flower beds. This is ideal for my style of photography with good opportunities for reportage shots and romantic poses. Before the wedding I will talk to the bride and groom to see what style they prefer. Most couples like a mixture as some family and friend group shots are still important to them.

Below you can see just a small collection of the work I have done at The Knowle Country House.
