Wedding photography at The Orangery, Turkey Mill

The Orangery at Turkey Mill is a stunning Wedding venue set in nine acres of parkland and gardens. The garden has a large mill pond fed by the river Len making it’s way from the nearby Leeds Castle. There is also a boathouse and a large waterfall flowing into another pond down towards the Orangery.

I have photographed many weddings at this venue and there are some truly lovely spots for photography to help capture your special day. The Orangery is situated just outside Maidstone, the County Town of Kent.
Once the bride has arrived and been seen by the registrar in the Whatman Room, she and her party make their way over a bridge and up to the Garden Room for the wedding ceremony. My packages are all flexible and I can offer coverage supplying a DVD of the images only, or a beautiful coffee table book through to the popular story book style of package. The Garden room at Turkey Mill is light and airy and is perfect for capturing the ceremony.

Once the marriage ceremony has been conducted, the wedding party can move outside for a celebratory drink on the lawns by the Orangery. Then I carry on my coverage with the bride and groom first in the nearby gardens by one of the lakes. There are fabulous backgrounds at Turkey Mill with ample space to build up the wedding party shots. Once the family shots have been completed I photograph the friends and then finally the all important group shot of everyone. It is at this stage I take the wedding party for a walk around the grounds capturing reportage shots as well as some posed shots. Across the lake the Orangery makes for the perfect background.

The locations are endless and each wedding is unique as the scenery changes with each season.

Confetti is normally thrown down by the lake in front of the Orangery. The wedding breakfast takes place in the Orangery and I normally finish with the first dance and the guests enjoying themselves. With all my packages the images are available to view through my website via a unique password.
